The DCU Incorporation Programme is the planned coming together of St. Patrick’s College, Drumcondra (SPD), Mater Dei Institute of Education (MDI) and Church of Ireland College of Education (CICE) with Dublin City University (DCU).

This programme reflects the shared vision of the founding institutions. It is also closely aligned with the National Strategy for Higher Education and with recommendations from the Review on Structures for Initial Teacher Education.

• The largest critical mass of initial teacher education expertise in Ireland.
• A continuum of teacher education from early childhood through Primary and Secondary to third and fourth Level.
• An enhanced Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences that will incorporate the combined strengths of the founding institutions, providing new opportunities for future students.

The DCU Incorporation Programme will build on the complementary strengths of the founding institutions in delivering a differentiated student and staff experience, underpinned by effective implementation of the transformation process.

Tá an clár seo ag teacht le fís aontaithe na n-institiúidí bunaidh. Tá sé bunaithe ar mholtaí ón Straitéis Náisiúnta Ardoideachais agus an t-athbhreithniú ar na struchtúir maidir le hOiliúint Tosaigh Múinteoirí.
